The best thing I've heard so far this year.  One of the best records of a long and distinguished career.

i'm a big Ray fan.  love the heavily 60s pop influence.  warm, ethereal, and "sunny".

Lee Scratch Perry Back On The Controls

This has it's roots firmly in the 70's dub tradition and is all the better for it. I could mix this with a Scientist dubplate and it wouldn't be out of place. The only thing that gives it away is the fidelity of the recordings. A must buy for dub heads and residents of Amsterdam, Colorado and Washington.

sounds really nice in Minnesota...ya der eh?

Dub heads of Maple Grove are of obviously included.

Oh, I just noticed the Beyer DT100's. I've got a pair of those in the wardrobe. I used to use them for live monitoring when recording acoustic guitar.

PlastikMan EX (Performed live at the Guggenheim NYC)

Deep, trippy and minimal. Love it.

I'm sure I'll grab it, but any comments before I do?

It's a mixed bag, flitting between country, blues rock and Funkadelic style grooves (listen to the title tune Lazaretto then Funkadelic's Super Stupid. None of it is really offensive, but I found myself gravitating towards the more uptempo tunes.

Hedvig Mollestad Trio Enfant Terrible

These guys seem to occupy some strange space between rock, jazz, prog and they are all the better for it.
