Yeah. He's actually very nice and calm. Some people think he hangs out and maintains his angry rants here, but that's hardly true. This is a place of serenity (or evil sinister plans whichever way you want to look at it.)
So far, people have been pretty respectful here and know exactly where we are coming from. "Yes, the HD700 measure like shit, but I still like them" is hardly a problem. Heck, I like the W3000ANVs myself. And those measure like shit and sound kind of wierd too.
What is not appreciated here is random people with no authority on or understanding of a topic vomiting ill-conceived interjections in some vain and lame attempt to prove to others that they actually know something. (This is not directed towards you at all.)

I swear, none of us pirates can post anything on Jude's forum trying to help out a noob understand audio terms or pick a good op-amp or two, mention tubes, etc. without some 'tard screaming "SOUND SCIENCE" or "IT'S ALL IN YOUR HEAD!" It's always been a little bit like that over there, but it seems especially worse in the last few months. A lot of more recent know-it-all noobs just don't have any respect or deference to people who actually know what they are talking about. I guess it's really no different than the random thoughts posted on Facebook or MySpace.
