Hi everyone, I've been lurking a while but finally registered. It's nice and relaxed around here. Is it because Purrin is from California ?

Anyway, the name is Baptiste, but everyone calls me Bat. Currently living in Japan, where I had the privilege to meet Arnaud a few times. The others I think we already crossed path on HF a few times too. Still learning and having fun with music, hoping it will stay that way.

Hi Bat. Just a few of us live in California. We like to keep things relaxed here. The other admins and mods, and also the members do a good job of maintaining the atmosphere here. I think a few of us have been accused of being very angry in HF; but that's just over there.

While it's true that I don't like most headphones, I tend to present things in a dry style, and people here have sufficient IQ and EQ that they don't go off. Heck, I like a few crappy measuring headphones too. A sense of humor helps.

She was pretty mad at something when I took that photo. Or staring at a rabbit.

Hi, I know some of you from down the road.  Just signed up here yesterday and will read and keep my mouth shut.  Nice to see a place where critical thought has a fighting chance against magical thinking.

Well, I do like the Q- cables; but only because the shit brown reminds me of the magical 70s, and they are flexible.

Are they still called Q?  I thought SE started a "guild" for himself and other "artisans".

Welcome to the hold, Dinny.

Welcome, Monkey!

Would like to hear what made you put the PWD up for sale...was it "better/other sound" or something else?

Probably because the NAD M51 is stable and isn't in permanent beta, i.e. doesn't break or sound different with each firmware version.
