I used to use Foobar when I using Windows up until this past summer. I went back to it today after adjusting to Linux. Not sure if it's "better" anymore.

The first headphone amp I ever bought was cmoy in a tin. I bought another, having given the previous one to my brother a while ago,to opamp roll instead of opening up the Audinst AMP-HP everytime.

Mods have not panned out. No go for closed Gradp cups and T40RP still sounds underwhelming.

Trying the 325i with the Yamaha receiver. It may keep me from going after a PS500.

Brainwavz HM5 pads fit the Realistic PROII quite well.

I found these flat ribbon like RCA cables that look cool.

Do they look like these ones?  http://www.aliexpress.com/item/80-Silver-Flat-Ribbon-Audio-CD-Player-Amplifier-RCA-Interconnect-Cable-1m-Long/1063373400.html
I thought about getting those once but my cable sound skepticism won out and I just made some from mogami

I have them in blue and they work just fine. I like for their flexibility as opposed to some thick monoprice cables that I have.

I recently found out that the Beyer DTX 501P and Soundmagic P30 are the same headphone. Soundmagic manufactures both but the 501P is almost $20 more than the P30. They sound the same but I think the cups on P30 look better but I prefer the slightly larger pads on the 501P isolate better. I ended up switching pads because the 501P has a defective right driver.
