Fantastic read.

Your article is missing the following:

1) Nice, fancy pictures from the manufacturers.
2) Marketing jargon
3) Ads

This. Is. Awesome.

I would REALLY be interested if this became a quarterly/annual publication.  Was a great read.

I realise this site isn't comparable to head-fi on the business/traffic front, but it was a much better read than the head-fi buyer's guide.

Great summary.

Seriously sad to see the direction this hobby is going, but I'm glad you pointed out some gems in all the elephant dung. Gives us consumers some alternatives to "vote with our dollars", so to speak, and support the better manufacturers out there.

Fantastic read.

"On the portable front amplifier front,"

I would hazard a guess that's unintentional, and IMHO a mistake...

but it's a good read nonetheless.  :)p7

Excellent read Purrin, do you mind if I link this to a thread on head-fi. Yesterday I got into a discussion on the V-Moda M-100 thread involving exactly what you're saying and some people are just not getting it.

WTF???? How the heck did I get the designation of Swabbie????

@LFF
I'm interested in buying the Paradox, probably around Xmas or so, will your Joe Audio site be updated by then? I'm not seeing the Paradox anywhere in your online shop.

The science of properly driving headphones is a mystery for me. For starters where the hell is the steering wheel?

LOL. I think you need to post a few more to get moved up from Swabbie. Go ahead and post a link. I know of nothing.
