Your posts usually made more sense than entire threads...

Good luck.

Unlike some people, I don't try to make money out of it and try my best not to call people names.

I'm a conservatorium-trained, former-jazz musician with carpal tunnel syndrome at the tender age of 23. A few years later, I've branched out into about 8 instruments, and want to record my own solo stuff. I've got a few interesting plans for releases near and far (it won't be jazz)

Welcome, you gloriously talented asshole!

You all don't know me from anywhere because I'm a lurker supreme, but I really appreciate the measurements and discussions here.

About me: I'm what you all would term a sound science 'tard (I spend a lot of time at HydrogenAudio too).

My current listening rig is an O2 + ODAC driving the HD650. I also own an HD598, AKG K701, and Shure SRH940. I'm looking to upgrade to a better transducer, and thanks to your measurements I've been been able to eliminate from consideration headphones that have peaky, uptilted treble response. Despite having (minor) high frequency loss, I don't experience boosted treble as more detailed and so it's nice to have a reference to go by so I can avoid similar mistakes like my 940 or K701 purchases.
