I'm really surprised by the price.  I as pretty blown away by the LCD-X at the last meet I attended, but would never spend that much on headphones.

Audeze headphones at $699, though...I'm listening.

I think it looks pretty nice, especially the darker wood and the closed version does look even better. Curious to hear it.

I guess my Oppo PM-2 didn't hear the news that there is a new sheriff in transportable ortho land. I got home and plugged them in and much to my surprise they still played music.  ;)

Do you think there may be an acoustic leak from the jack hole? ~Tyll Hertsens

Not sure if I like stuffing one hole or both holes. Tending toward one hole since both holes seems kinda ghey ~Purrin

Competition is a good thing. Flagships are nice and all but once you get past $1000 you massively shrink your market. I want flagships to keep improving but getting better and better phones at lower price points - I like that. Let's improve the curve of diminishing returns. Oppo lowering the price on the PM-2, now this - good signs.

It's funny how some things are obvious to some people. I don't think I would ever have got it. Does it make a difference if it is said in American?
