I got to hear a development version of it at the 2013 LA regional meet, but I was sworn to secrecy not to talk about it. I guess the cat's out of the bag now. Yeah, the cups are 3D printed.

Couldn't he have 3d printed a new headband slider?  I like the copper look with the black cups but it looks kind of jarring with the red.

I'm surprised I hadn't considered 3D printed cups before (though I feel like I'd seen the idea mentioned before...not sure), but it sounds like a really good idea now that I'm thinking about it.

I wonder how much, if at all, the cups will alter the harmonic distortion.

Is T50RP driver fast ? does it sound open?
With enclosure can you tune a driver to make it sound fast & having open soundstage?
