or get a new motherboard and DDR3 RAM on Black Friday. You could probably get both for under $100 if you look around newegg. For reference, I got 16GB of DDR3 for $75 last year. Motherboard prices are all over the place, but I'm sure there's at least one LGA775 (right?) board from that transitional "DDR3's out, but i7's aren't" period that's reasonable.

I may just have to forego most gaming until I can do a full build. Waiting for HD 7870 + i5 prices to go down significantly, might as well go for broke to prolong the eventual PC's longevity.

You could squeeze a lot more life out of that 4850, though. While there are cards out now that obliterate it, there are few (if any?) games that actually need more power. I'm not trying to dissuade you from snagging anything on Black Friday, but I wouldn't put off gaming until you can afford a better card since Win7+more RAM+your current card would probably be more capable than you think.

It's an augmented reality, MMO type game on Android. Looks like you're basically assigned to one of two teams, and you must take over checkpoints throughout the world for your team. The checkpoints are actual historical sites around the world, that you have to visit these sites to claim them for your team.

There doesn't seem much to it, but the appeal is that it forces you out of your house to explore your city.

Considering the $180 AC:L/Battle Royale/3-month Free PSN/Vita combo, but I can't justify the cost since I likely won't play the thing much. Don't care for AC or BR, either. Rather use the money for headphones or PC stuff.
