Swaffelen is overrated.

I prefer a bit of swearing every once in a while. The F-word is nice but "godverdomme" and "klootzak" sound so much more rude and intimidating.

F.o.a.d. just sounds smooth and polite compared to "krijg de tering" for instance. Oh well...

Funny you mentioned this, because I'm sure there are some audiophiles who spend money and don't listen to music, while majority of my friends listen to music and don't spend money (arrrr!).

I tend to listen to music as best I can because I enjoy it, regardless of what I'm listening to it on.
I do do some audio engineering though.  Can't believe I forgot that.  I must be really tired.

I listen to music and no longer spend a lot of money hence the title "cheapus sexus" hehehhee. Why spend money on crap when you are already content with what you have. I already know the current state of the headphone hobby and will only spend a little more money than I usually do when the orpheus is going to be sold for less than $1000. Otherwise, I'll spend money on speaker equipment or music... or other things like good wine and scotch  or beeeeeeerrrrrrrr
