Hi.
I've been a music nut since I was very young. In high school, I was one of a small group who used to hang out in the Music Room. We used to try all the instruments, so as a result, I can play any instrument - poorly.
Around then, I was introduced by a close friend to the idea of listening to the sound of audio equipment, so I have been doing that a long time.
But I have gone back and forth between having nice sounding setups and just having cheap crap, and enjoyed music either way. A few years ago, I moved from a very rural area where I could use speakers any time I wanted, to a more densely populated area (but with better weather), and so I started to get interested in headphones again.
I've participated enough in HF to get frustrated with the vast number of people who "read between the lines" of what I am saying - even though I NEVER talk that way - I don't imply anything, I am not that good of a writer.
If I say "I want a glass of water", I am not blaming someone for making the air dry and I am not implying that I am disappointed for not having a different beverage, I just want a glass of water.
It's a waste of time to spend it on saying things like "no I am not blaming anyone, you are just assuming that", so I am pretty much done with HF.
Okay, rant over.
