that is a massive rise through the ranks! i'm still on rung 2/3 of the headphone ladder! I saw the Orpheus at a local roadshow. Wasn't allowed to touch though.

Hi,

I'm from head-fi too and registered here as soon as I knew about it (through innerfidellity).

I been on this hobby for one year approximately, and I'm loving it. Already have lots of cans. I started with a W4 and a Beyer DT880-250 Ohms. They got me very impressed. The first can that really gave me goose bumps was Denon D7000, that I will probably keep for life. My biggest purchase so far is an Orpheus system from another fellow head-fier, Neil. That took a lot of courage  :)p1

I also like photography... though I'm not much of a photographer myself.

You've only been into head-fi for a year and you already own an Orpheus rig? Wow!

You are done. You don't need to be here anymore.  :)p7  Unless you don't like the Orpheus.

It would be fun to compare the Orpheus and the Stax to get a baseline for State if the art
