Perhaps you missed the part about free speech and this not being Head-fi. You're in the wrong place dood if you think we'd ever allow a fans only thread. This place is for critical audio discussion. This requires being critical by definition.

Thank god for that. :)

I've owned a V200 for several years now and love it, but certain thing have been bothering me as of late. For one it can sound a tad flat with some headphones, though still dynamic, but not at all like my ROC or Auditor. Second is the warmth of it. I do like the added warmth for something headphones (DT990, T1, HD700), but for my X2's and K7XX it can sometimes be undesirable. The added midrange warmth for those two headphones kind of bloats them a bit.

I have no ill will for the manufacturers as the amp is still top notch, though 1:1 clones are now popping up for half the price of the real version... I can't justify spending full price on the amp no more. Especially when my ROC and Auditor can stomp it in many ways.

I might be getting a knock off version of the V181 as it's essentially two V100's in a box, and is dead neutral. From memory it was also more dynamic.
