I'm thinking the Krell Klone (solid-state) would be a good amp for the TH900. Black Diamond too.

I'm probably VERY late to the game.
The Ygg looks interesting indeed: sounds like a Chord-like design with R2R DAC chip vs. Pulse DAC.

What is the expected price on that one? <2k?

flavor comes into play irrespective of power.  as long as it's noise free and decent play on the pot, anything is fair game in my book.  even though the B22 could melt my AD2000, i really like the pairing.  conversely, despite the fact that people claim that orthos need gobs of power, my "underpowered" QRV-08 sounds great driving my Don-modded T50RP.

I demand more posts in this thread! The HF thread has 2500 more useless posts and 250000 more views than the one here. This it not cutting it for something which has not been released to the public.

Yeah, my birthday is like almost next year so I need to know what to ask my parents for asap.  I'm afraid if you guys can't get your Schiit together I'll have to move on to something better from either Monoprice or McIntosh (can't decide if reddit or head-fi is more accurate).  Or I'll just get dad to buy me a new Mustang because chicks like V8s, so my friends tell me.  Something about the rumble, I forget.
