The traditional Grado open-back form factor has not changed, because it delivers superior sonic quality and greater realism than closed-back.  :)p13


Yeah, I had someone lend me a RS-1e not long ago. I LOVE that it is so light! It's the lightest, brightest, and most torturous Grado yet!


I don't get it. The original RS-1 (no serial, brown headband) I had sounded so much better and let's not even mention the venerable JOE Grado HP-1000. Seems every new "upgrade" turns out to be a downgrade.
