Machine head was my intro to DP Mk II so that will always be the standout for me. The Hammond XBR was the sound that drew into the fold. Ritchie just grew on me over the years and IMO, I don't think Page was better than him (and I love Led Zep as well).

"Machine Head" is my second favourite album of theirs. I consider it Proto-Metal and in some ways their faster and harder sounding master piece. Blackmore was an awesome guitar player. He and Jan Akkerman from Focus were legendary. Blackmore and Akkerman were two of the better known experimental guitar players who like Hendrix looked for new ways to expand the possibilities of the guitar.

I consider Led Zeppelin to be a bit overrated. Led Zeppelin can be thrill to listen to and you rock out. Robert Plant's vocals for me sometimes ruin it.

Is the Division Bell the best of Pink Floyd's creation?

I like the Syd Barrett period a lot. Decide for yourself.

Deep deep deep bass song… about 0:50 for the drop

Warning: do not put it too loud the first time especially on bookshelves. Yeah, its that deep
