Not quite Made in Japan, right Deep? :)

I actually prefer Deep Purple's album "In Rock." That album is pure Progressive, Hard Rock and Proto-Metal fun. Also Ian Paice in the 70ties is one of my favourite drummers. He was smooth and fast at the same time with precision that still makes me count every beat just for the fun of it.

Did I mention I like the old organ sound from the 60ties and 70ties albums? Organs are such versatile instruments. "Child in Time" is still too fucking awesome for words. Deep Purple mark II was one of the best Rock bands on the planet, no question.

Machine head was my intro to DP Mk II so that will always be the standout for me. The Hammond XBR was the sound that drew into the fold. Ritchie just grew on me over the years and IMO, I don't think Page was better than him (and I love Led Zep as well).
