DSD download.  Not sure I like the performance of the Op. 46 dances as well as I like the other recording in my collection (vinyl of the Concertgebuow/Haitink performance from the 1960s), but this is a really well done recording, without crossing the line into "audiophile spectacular" territory.

Faith No More - Angel Dust

Just got my MFSL copy in the mail and put it on right away. Great album.

Riverside - Shrine of New Generation Slaves

Finally got a copy of this in the mail as well. Mine is signed by the band, but it's kind of a bittersweet victory. I ordered the special color LP and it got lost in the mail, then they sent this out and it's arrived with massive seam splits. Been almost 2.5 months at this point. :(

Either way it's one of the best 'modern' Prog albums I've heard. Extremely well done sound & music wise.

I guess I needed some prog-rock  in my life... I'm enjoying that Riverside Album!

Thanks for the recommendation!   :)p5

It's got me thinking of queuing up some Kingston Wall for the commute home!   headbang

I've been on quite a Metal kick lately since getting back into analog. That Riverside album is another that has been 'claimed' by the Metal guys so I think it'll get overlooked by Prog. fans, and that's a real shame. The Gilmour-esque stuff towards the end made me really happy.

That being said...I'd never heard of Kingston Wall until now...Man it's good. Guess we made an exchange on this one.  :)p5

yup. gonna grab the mics this week. also great song from the ost you picked. never watched the movie though.
I personally liked the movie, but it was not very well received. The anime series seems to be pretty cool tho.

Shipsupt, massive + 1 on Kingston Wall. Kingston Wall made music with heart, a bleading heart...

Right now from the 2000s, Barthezz - "On The Move". A classic...

"Infected"

Mauro Picotto - "Komodo"

The late nineties and early 2000s were a good time for House & Techno.
