Been a Metal day today.

Earth, Cult of Luna, Dir En Grey.

Between episodes of Top Gear. Kinda had a free night to jam since Grace is at work.

My SACD copy of Slowhand (Eric Clapton) came in the mail yesterday. The only other SACD I have is a copy of DSOTM, but this one's jewel case has some some slick rounded corners.  :-DD

The album sounds better than I remember, but I don't have any other editions to directly compare it to. Still looking for some other good SACDs that aren't prohibitively expensive, but most of them seem to be out of press.

XXYYXX- Overdone (ft. Anneka)

i love this kid. some of the stuff he produces is really good. i think he's gonna end up another favorite for trip-hop/downtemp if he keeps it up(people say he's dubsteb but defiantly not. i been around enough trip-hop to know what it is).

the singer also gives a vibe like the singer from Second Person

listening to this again. sounds mellow and relaxed. like something to chill to. also seems perfect as a beat to rap over. so i am so borrowing my friend's mic this weekend and writing something to this. i'm gonna blow everyone's mind like a boss. it's gonna be off the hook yo! LFF knows what i'm talking about.
I sense the wheels of inspiration are turning! popcorn
