Frogbeats CIEM Group Buy!!!
« on: November 15, 2012, 09:57:03 AM »

In full disclosure...

I have no vested interest in this other than seeing people buy a great CIEM.

If you want in, just PM me with you location.

I will edit this as time goes on and more details come up...  p:3 :)p1 :)p1 :)p1 :)p1

THE DETAILS!!!!

This is only getting announced through Changstar as a "bonus" time to allow the members to get in on the deal first. It will not get announced officially anywhere else until the 2nd of December.
20% off the base price of the Frogbeats C4. All other options remain the same and rush order for the limited buy is $110 so that it's a fair game for people that can't stretch that extra mile. Frogbeats put up the price so that everyone has a fair chance at getting it and rush orders don't overtake everything else. David wants to take his time and put in as much effort into making the best ones possible for us.

To confirm pricing, in GBP:£468 for the base Frogbeats C4, excluding shipping.
Build time is 5 weeks excluding shipping back to customer.
Frogbeats CIEM impression instructions and mailing instructions:http://shop.frogbeats.com/frogbeats-ciem-instructions.pdf
All orders must go through:
customs@frogbeats.com
Frobeats will not be using the system for the Changtar orders, so that they are prioritized above everything else.
To see available options : http://customs.frogbeats.com/order/1-frogbeats-c4
Layout for order must contain the following information:
Billing address:Shipping address:Paypal email:
Left shell colour:Right shell colour:
Faceplate colour (if any):
Logo option (default is gold):
Canal options (if any):
Additional options:
Rush order: Yes/No

Artwork - we would prefer vector images. It must be simple, monochrome artwork and we reserve the right to decline the artwork due to complexity.

All orders will be verified within 24 hours, and no placement is guaranteed until payment is received for the order.
Frogbeats must be notified of the impressions being shipped out, and a photograph of them beforehand would be helpful to ensure no mistakes are made. Try to keep the box small if possible.

Totally unrelated question: Is Frogbeats a sponsor over there?

It got killed due to "unauthorized group buys" as per their TOS, which is pretty fascist even if you just skim read it. Essentially, HeadFi has no interest in helping the community unless it makes $$ out of it.

We tried to get sponsorship and got stonewalled by them when asked for a budget. Pretty ridiculous.

As far as group buys are concerned, we're working on the ins and outs for the C4 group buy. Trying to get a good discount for all of you interested.

That's very disappointing to hear. Sorry to see that David!

I'm so in on the group buy, especially if it is the 25% that you had mentioned in the other Frogbeats thread!

I'd love 25% if it's possible. CIEM's are way out of my proce-range at the moment (college student) - but if I could get a nice discount like that on a set, I'd love it.

Guys, just to get it out of the way now - We simply can't afford such a massive discount on our CIEMs. It won't be 25%, but lets hope it's close to that.

It's hard enough as it is to get started, but having that sort of discount is near impossible to achieve without serious money loss on our end.

At the end of the day, we're aware that our CIEMs are on the "high" end spectrum of price in this market, but as you'll hopefully find from LFF's review and other peoples impressions, the cost is justified. Or at least, I'd like to think it is.
