Production unit is assembled. Hasn't been turned on. It's at Andy Hefley's place. Will know more next week.

Only stick your plug in the left jack if you have an STD.

He could do without all the lettering on top with the EL34s/6SN7.  It clutters up the amp as a whole, no matter what the size of the lettering..  Other than that it's looking quite good.  I offered to buy the production sample from him and he said he'd think about it...

The design kind of reminds me of an old tube testing kit.  It's functional and informative, which is nice, but the aesthetics look like they're back from the 60s/70s.  I like the meter.

As good as the Electra might sound, I think the visuals will turn off some potential buyers.  I'm glad he's doing something about the lettering.  I was actually looking at some Moth pictures people used to bring to meets several years ago, and the overall design seemed cleaner overall.  The Electra looks like it belongs in a science lab.

I'd like to see all that lettering on the top go as well, with just a polished plate and the Eddie Current badge (which I'm not seeing) above the meter.

Looking damn fine otherwise.

What's the status on alternative jacks? Craig had said "no" to a Sennheiser jack when I asked, but then I heard he'd be able to do it from others, so maybe? Still at this point with the LL set for the HE60 on jack #2, I'm probably going to keep it normal / pro bias.

I mostly talk about music there. Weird.

Does the PS have an enclosure yet or is it still breadboarded?

No idea. LOL. It could still be that same power transformer with that mess of wires wrapped in duct tape to an umbilical.

Careful... I wouldn't want him to get upset and push the pre-order date back another three months. I'm being serious, too.  :P
