Don't buy it.  These things sold for dirt cheap when they were in production.  And I think he's probably flipping them for substantial profit. (He's not, confirmed by Guru) Maybe their sound is worth 250 but these ortho prices are sad...

Two hours left.  Brand new K1000 (OBO) currently at $1000.  I prefer the HD800's to these, but they still have some redeeming features, and this is about $300 cheaper than they go used/good condition.  I'd snap them up myself but I'm trying to get some UERM's at the LA meet discount next month.

Tempting for sure, but I'm in the same boat (holding out for UERMs and/or any unexpected purchases).

I can't tell you how badly I want that K1000 to go to someone who will actually listen to it and appreciate it, rather than some douche who will turn around and sell it on head-fi for $1800.

Actually not going to be there, I'm doing a wedding in MKE that week.  Looking for the brave soul who's intrepid enough to take my money and impressions to the meet.
