Hey all!  I have been a HF user since 2008 and a lurker before that.  I got into this hobby while I was playing PC games competitively.  I needed new cans given my Sony MDR-600s were falling apart and my MDR-700DJ's were trying to reshape my face (strong clamping force).  Anyway I heard about this site from Marv after chatting with him over email about headphone pairings.

After being gone for soo long it's nice to see friendly people who actually care about music as well as performance, and not a bunch of romanticized descriptions of a headphone's ability to accurately reproduce sound pressure.

Hello, just wanted to introduce myself again as I happened to register when the server was being updated. I'm just an headphone newbie planning to jump into midfi, and I hope to learn a lot here!  :)
