Thank-you gentlemen. If I could impose, I see a lot of CSD, FR, and HD plots. Is there somewhere a sticky post that describes methods and apparatus involved, especially the headphone - measurement mic interface, to obtain the plots posted?

Been lurking a while but what the heck lets join the party god dammit.

I love headphones and the gear around it. Owned and listened to probably hundreds by now. Still music is what really matters.
I find it sad when people instead of finding gear that make good music sound good gather music that makes their gear sound good. I guess I have some ways to go from becoming a real audiophile.
I believe that our subjective concious experience is all that matter but that audio science will have better insight to what good sound really is.
Better measurements and a better understanding of these measurements combined with with knowledge gained in neuroscience excites me.

And I have to admit I love the Leben which seems like swearing in church around here. Heard many amps with the HD800 and this is still my favourite pairing. With the bass boost it can almost make the HD800 sound balanced! Some gear goes beyond technical ability and can connect you to the music on an emotional level. It has "presence". The Leben is one of those. Love it with the LCD-3 as well.

And I strongly dislike Diana Krall and 95% of music played at audio shows. Talentless slow jazz nonsense is a phrase I coined over at the other site.
Music and life is suppose to be fun.

Welcome Sweded!

Don't worry about the Leben!  We've all got dark secrets we try to keep hidden around here!   :)p4

I'm all for having my skeletons outside the closet. I know a few pirates want to  :spank: anytime someone praises the Leben.
Thanks for for the welcome fellow Pirate.
