Welcome Sherwood.  Tyll is good people.  How he manages his balancing act between all the "factions" of this hobby I'll never know.  (Any hobby with two or more members has factions.  You don't want to know about the drama on the knitting forums.)





Nothing wrong with a grown man who still wants to be a pirate.  Heck, I still wear my Batman undies under my business casual attire at work.  If the riddler crashed a meeting, I'd like to think that I'd rip my suit off and take care of business.


We prefer rapscallions to brigands.  We like people who like this hobby because they like listening to music and having it sound awesome.  We like hearing about their lives while we're at it. Agendas, black-and-white reductionism, drama, obsessive gear-fixation, posting for self-aggrandizement or out of pugilistic tendencies not so much.
