been lurking so i thought i should introduce myself. (this may ramble a bit.
)
very new to this whole headphone hobby.
got here from Tyll's post on InnerFidelity.
am a stay at home parent to a pair of tweens.
very much into computer tech. (A+ certified so i can charge you to break your PC.)
once sold a car to buy a McIntosh receiver based system. (lost in divorce.)
bought my spouse Sennheiser HD 25-1 II as she keeps breaking everything else. (yes, i am Q.)
own a pair of AKG K550 (please be kind). bought them based on the reviews on InnerFidelity, What HiFi and the (early) thread on HeadFi and auditioning at Best Buy.
(they work for me as i can fall asleep listening to music without disturbing the Gorgeous Young Trophy Wife [or hear her snoring.

(then again i am over 60 and have too many miles on a motorbike without hearing protection to know better.
