I've been to more than my fair share of lesbian haunts. The music is hit or miss. Usually the really "obvious" stuff makes you grind your teeth past a certain point.

Also if you squint, you can convince yourself you've fallen into a pocket dimension filled with a multiplicity of Justin Biebers. Kinda surreal.

I mostly talk about music there. Weird.

We were lucky. It was a little bar in the old part of Amsterdam. The crowd was very mixed.

Some people were simply amusing and some were simply annoying hitting despicable levels of shameless stupidity...

ahoy New person 'round here. I am coming from Head-Fi looking to come aboard Changstar from all the blubberin' goin' on there. I too take both an objective and subjective view on on music, whether it be headphones or 2-channel. I have had many a gear on my journey to music nirvana. Let it charge on here!  :boom:

It's not so much a fascination with Biebs as it is his ongoing exploration of lesbian haircuts. For whatever reason, the guy seems to be enamored with getting lesbian haircuts. If you look at various pictures of him spanning his youth and transition into adulthood, you see one lesbian cliche after another. Each time he ends up looking like a different archetype. It's uncanny.

Hey All,

I've been lurking a bit, so I though I should introduce myself. I've been on HF since at least 2008 (that's according to my profile, but it seems longer than that). I've heard and owned a lot of cans over the years, and am slowly getting back into speakers as my kids get a older. I hope to begin contributing around here a bit more once I get my sea legs.

I've been enjoying the reality check nature of this place. Once upon a time I reviewed PC hardware for a living, so I appreciate the effort here to spell out test methodologies and to measure gear where possible (in addition to listening, of course).

Keep up the worthwhile conversations, and thanks for making this site happen.

Tom
