Hey everyone. Been lurking on here a while now, figured it's time to introduce myself.

I'm a college student studying Electrical Engineering. I got into audio a few years back and it's definitely been my #1 time- and money-suck since. I enjoy long walks on the beach, a good microbrew, and looking over some CSD plots. I'm into DIY audio more than anything and love to tinker and build. I discoverd this forum just few days ago, but it instantly caught my attention. People here are more honest about what they hear and it seems it really corresponds with my opinions.

Now something about me: I'm civil engineering student and I live in Prague, Czech Republic. I got into hi-fi six years ago and because I'm student living with my parents, headphones was easy choice over speakers. Now after few years I'm happy with my Jh audio combo(3A+16).


Here we dont have many headphone enthusiast, most people just has headphones as their secondary rig to their main speakers. They dont really care about headphone rigs, so often you see something like HD800 connected directly to Vincent Cdplayer headphone out.
Luckily I know group of guys aged 25-30, who take headphones more seriously and we often gather for mini-meets. But most of them get hyped for local manufacturers, so still I have to go on international forums to get more objective info on new products.

I sometimes write reviews for Czech Hi-fi site Avmania, focusing on portable audio. This category is on the rise here, but most people knows nothing about it.
