There is this tiny mafia of users of this 'Symphon1ca' (i being replaced with 1 to avoid googlespies) cables here in Asia (Mostly Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia, where Jaben is). They use it on the HD650 and claims that with these, the HD650 are beyond insanely good.

The cable costs somewhere north of 400USD or if purchased with a HD650 from Jaben, about 325USD.

I like how users in this country calls them the greatest cable ever made (by this forumer who goes by the name of PcW0rks) Now there has been alot of literature about how the cable really pushes the limits of the HD650, far better than Moon Audio's or your own DHC cables. But whenever I posted about whats in it? nobody can answer. Nobody knows. 'Trade Secret'. All the creator and his minions would claim is that the highs become perfect, the mids become perfect and the bass..  ooohh the bass is perfect...

They do use Cardas' rhodium pronged plugs for the terminations.

I'm allergic to the word Cardas....
Tried that cable. Sounds like a screaming banshee with a cheap woofer hanging on her neck. For soundstage and imaging, she runs around you in circles.

What VIDEO?? which year

I NEED THAT VIDEO!!

Will help me prepare for this..  http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2554291..

Which I'm about to attend, or rather thinking of.

this PCW0rks guy is the guy who claims his uber secret Symphon1ca cable is the best in the world, but refuses to disclose anything about the cable. Except the Cardas pins.

J@ben is just milking it in.....

Hello, folks. k0nane here - I'm an Android developer among other things, and I suppose (compared to the more experienced regulars here) you could call me an entry-level audio enthusiast. I'm in the headphone upgrade process, and stumbled here when giving an extended listen to some new AKG K550. Long story short, they got returned. Not nice. I've started paying a whole lot more attention to frequency response graphs - so, nice to be here.

Yep they're your only hope short of buying & returning headphones to avoid the serious fails of the headphone world.

I'm OK with buying and trying from Amazon, Headroom, etc. since there are no longer any brick-and-mortar stores. The downside is that at some point, if you abuse this privilege, your return rights will be revoked.

Hmm, I wonder who smited you Scooter?
