Why does Jude care so much about changstar?
There's plenty of other sites that you can get discussion on audio gear like Reddit, computer audiophile, gear slutz, audiogon, audio asylum to name a few.

Because he is insecure, vain, and financially motivated to have all the headphone nerds to himself. Because he started banning / muzzling some of the more respected, critical people at HF and they built this instead. Because merv is cooler than he is, and just keeps being cool about it, and he can't stand it. Because "changstar" is a fucking retarded name for an audio website. I could keep going, but the bottom line is Jude inexplicably sees it as personal rebuke, and in a way it is but not in the way he thinks.
