I love that someone posted on h-f that their HD800s sounded a lot better after they discovered the right way round to wear them!   Hats off to them for the confession    :)p1 :)p7

Some people say that the HD600s are tight, but they fit my nose perfectly.

Yup, with the HD800 the clamp isn't as important as positioning the drivers in the sweet spot in relation to your ears. The pad contact area is sufficiently broad that it will disperse the clamping force enough to compensate for an imperfect fit. Not for headbanging, as said above, but enough for casual listening. Plus it's one of the headphones which "disappears" after a few minutes.

I think in one of the campaign photos, Larry of Light Harmonic wore them backwards.

How many ticks do you guys have the headband set at? I do 3 or 4 (from the shortest width)
