Is it just me or do the headphones keep looking worse as you go higher with the model numbers in the new HiFiMAN line-up?

Anybody of you industry gurus heard anything about these?  Thoughts on if they're going to go the Koss route with the amp sold with the headphone?

Hopefully the sound is better. I have high hopes, given what they have done with the HE-560.

There is a 300B amp that is planned for these. Dunno if the bias will be Stax compatible, or if you'll have to buy the amp, but the price together is going to be Orpheus territory ($$$$).

The HE1000 is an ortho, not a stat, according to the URL in the picture  :P
It's probably the successor of the HE-6.

That is not an ortho; I can tell just by looking at it.

MF you can`t say exactly the price, but ...more than the 009?  :-S   Just for curiosity, won`t have money to buy it anyways...  :'(

Ops sorry, missed your post above, so probably more than the 009, that will be crazy.
