Purpose of Site

So, a general question for the Purrin and the other moderators:  what is the general purpose / theme of this site as compared to something like Head-fi.

Looking at the first few posts, I would expect it to be for open and honest exchange without "influence" from manufacturers that could (and have on other sites) result in censorship or outright banning.

If you feel this post shouldn't have been included, feel free to remove.  However, I would suggest adding a "general" philosophy of the site post someplace.

  • I feel that I'm walking on eggshells on HF sometimes. The fact that I can't refer to HC, even if there is pertinent data there or information there totally weirds me out.
  • Seek out and destroy all crappy headphones and gear.
  • Assistance with identifying the crappy (imperfect) headphones that you can tolerate the most. What it does well, where is fails, etc.
