Big thanks to Marv for doing a review on the M7. and to Soup for sharing.

I'm really happy with the M7 , using both coax and l2S connections to the OR5 , i'm finding that some recordings sound better via COAX and others via l2S.
I'm equally happy with both and thinking of getting an AES cable to see how it may sound in comparison .

The M7 is so good that i just realized how a truly good source can make some flat and boring ...... make music.  headbang

I saw you just got your M7 a few days ago on the A-GD shipping notice page. Noted quite a few Master-7s being shipped lately.


I should go back and revisit the coax now that I've made my down USB Filter with +5V cut.

S1 almost convinced me to buy a Vega so we could do a comparison.

From 6 moons, the Vega sounded like the PWD2 (upgraded from 1)
But who knows. I had a headache trying to understand what they were saying.

I also heard good things about it, and it looks to be a pretty solid transport which is something I've wanted even if it won't get a ton of use.

Not a problem! I had no need for it while I was here in Texas. Figured I might as well share the love with you guys for a bit. You didn't seem to like it as much as marv, but that's totally ok. Nothing wrong with some differing viewpoints. You both explains your impressions well.

I actually just got it yesterday. It was stuck in LA during the weekend .
