The Bengals website I admin has a trash talk forum with an enter at your own risk warning.  I stay out of that one...

Truth be told, it's not that effective.  People still go at it in the main forums, and have to be "handled".  The trash talk forum goes largely unused.

As long as there is an end to personal attacks and name calling for unnecessary reasons, and the "I'm right" syndrome, I think everything will work out just fine.

Except Shoutbox. That by nature should be minimally moderated, only things like advertising and excessive spam (there could be a timer or shout limit) should be moderated. My personal opinion.

Off-topic is a good idea (I want to re-start a science sub-forum), but people will troll to try to finish grudges (no names, but I've had it happen), so better if rules are universal and apply to everyone except takato-that boy can go nuts.

I second that. Science subforum would be awesome. Also second giving free pass to Takato. His passion is a prime example of what keeps this hobby alive for us new generation kids :)

Whatever works best. The cute flesh eating rabbit requires carrots and beef so prepare for a picnic.

My remark was meant as a joke. When the rabbit was about to visit the Granddaddy they were talking about which meat to eat. It was funny to say the least. That "tatanka" post was good for a chuckle.
