Brothers in Arms by Dire Straits. 24bit, 192KHz. Vinyl transfer.
It sounds amazing! One of my best sounding rock recordings.
I rarely come across Dire Straits fans. Are there any here?

finally getting around to ripping my entire CD collection to HD. currently working through the 'C's' and came across this oldie. haven't listened to this album in years. it's cool to hear it fresh again and with an improved, tuned signal chain over the years. i don't remember it sounding this good before.

Sufjan Stevens album Illinoise.

I'm impressed with how good it sounds despite being lo-fi.

Here's the creation and evolution of Sympathy for the Devil featuring Keith on bass. It starts out with basic chords and feel and slowly progresses to something a lot more sophisticated. I have a much greater appreciation for this song now. For me this embodies the "serve the song" ideology.

I bought that album for the cover and then enjoyed it for the music. Good choice. I am now listening to Francis Poulenc on a coffee high.
