I'm listening to Daft Punk RAM as I test some headphone ear pad damping schemes. It's an well-mastered album with a lot of different dynamics, timbres, ambiances, simultaneous instruments. I just realized that there are bells/piano (still to sure) on Lose Yourself to Dance. It is present at the beginning and begins to play a harmony, more noticeably, at eight seconds. Anyone else hear it?

I hear them. To me they sound like bells or chimes. They're pretty subtle to the point where I wonder if the track would sound very different if they were missing entirely. Almost like someone snuck into the recording studio and quietly played by themselves in the corner...

"They're here to bring the curtains down"
"They're here to put your fire out"
"They're here to slow us down and waste our time"

"So dislocate yourself tonight"
"I'm here to tear your skies down"
"Cuz tonight we burn, cuz tonight we burn, cuz tonight we burn."

Words cannot express how unbelievably beautiful this song is.

80ties synthesizers and grooves are blasting through the speaker. This music makes me crave my crate digging days.

Shabazz Palaces always bringing it. Black Up is one of the most wonderful hip hop records I've heard from the last few years  p:3
