The original is better than any cover I've heard.  I don't think I've heard this many modulations in a 4 minute song before.

The Sunshine Fix- Digging to China


Age of the Sun is a rare album that has great individual tracks but still works great as a concept album

Hank Mobley -- "Soul Station"

This album and a glass of Scotch go so well together. It instantly transports me into a smoky jazz club in 1960. Great bluesy and soulful playing by Mobley backed by an all-star rhythm section.

The Zombies - Walking in the Sun


One of the best bands of the 60's.  Mix of Psychedelic/Baroque/Sunshiney Pop with Gospel, Soul, and Jazz influences.  Odessey and the Oracle is a tremendous album.

Like a barbershop quartet that moonlight as armchair psychologists.

First time listening to headphones for a few days as I'm getting over a cold and felt like head thrashing to some hip hop:

Cannibal Ox - The Cold Vein


An underground classic. This album ruled my senior year of high school.
