I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to the Black Flag reunion.  Even through all the bad press while "What the..." was being recorded I held out hope that they could capture even a little of what made the band legendary. 

Swing... and a miss!  Quite simply, Greg Ginn produced (22!) mediocre, at best, songs that are not worthy of having the trademark Ray Pettibone flag on the cover! This album lacks the energy, the anger, and the edge that anyone who was "part of the scene" expects from one of the greatest punk bands to come out of the USA.

Sometimes it's better just to skip the reunion...

Marnie - Crystal World, solo debut from Ladytron's Helen Marnie. Not bad, better than Ladytron's last album. Definitely more on the pop side.

Hahaa, yeah. Not in listening at the moment, but the music from this group has somehow managed to dub itself as "dish wash tunes", definitely. I don't know why... It's not something that would make anyone dance, but I love the absurdity of the grooves.
