Listening to the new Shins album. Kinda underwhelmed after one pass through. Not bad really, and the production is grander but the songwriting (lyrics and melodies) are a bit uninspired and uninteresting. I dunno, I'll probably still end up buying it.

Cool!  The Glow pt 2 is his best.  If you're looking for more, there's also his newer album under the band name Mount Erie, which is frickin awesome.
