I don't know, but does it seem like that there's some shilling going on with the HD700? Just seems odd with such an expensive headphone that guys with 24 posts, 1 post, 36 posts, etc. (and completely nothing in their profiles) are chiming it on it. I've never seen this before on HF, especially for something so expensive.

Wondering if Sennheiser has a dedicated social-media squad behind this.

Oh man, I was just talking about this myself. I noticed this too. Suddenly we're seeing all these new members with only a few posts to their name, all of them in the HD700 Appreciation Threads, HD700 avatars, and nothing but glowing things to say about these headphones.

One guy just posted a glowing review of the HD700 calling it "equal to the HD800" and other nonsense.... like, as one of his first posts. Gee....

Edit: I'm also not entirely sure if it's guys from Sennheiser, or if it's just a few zealous fans making sockpuppet accounts, or what...

I noticed it too. I was attributing it to people who were biased by inexperience combined with that indiscriminate eagerness to hear good things. But I could see Sennheiser subtley asking some employees to jump in and give it a good rap.

What's annoying is that as soon as you all get bored or tired of repeating yourself to these kinds of inane impressions, they'll just take over the thread and everything you took so much time to write will be lost in the HF void, new members will show up not having read the whole thread, and see only the positive impressions. That's the good thing about that review. You should just go in and bump it every once in a while with nice anecdotes or pictures of

Of course there is shilling on the HD700!

So many positive reviews from noobs...after all the stuff we have posted.

Then again...there is even shilling for the Mad Dogs for jebus sakes and he's not even a professional! HF is just a promotional circle jerk. We need more
