Omni >> Ether > Mad Dog Pro ~>= Alpha Dog ~>= Mad Dog > Alpha Dog Prime

Very much generalities. What I like about the Omni is its openness and coherent sound throughout. Early Omni tuning had a bright spot. I know Hans will get Zach to fix that because anything 0.5db over flat in the upper mids and treble will cause Hans immense pain; and I also trust Zach's ears. I believe OJ is a big fan of them as well.

Latest iteration I heard at the Chicago meet seemed to have that solved. They are very, very good. Zach has done top notch work with the Omnis.

Wow, the Omni wasn't even on my radar until I saw this.  I've been reading about it a lot now and I'm impressed by your thoughts, especially considering they are nearly half the cost of the Ether.  Guess I should keep tabs on this headphone now :)
