HD600 and HD650 are pretty incredible headphones if almost everyone here has bought them twice or more.

Koss KSC75:

I put my first pair in a parts express type headband.  I stood up without realising my foot was on the cable.  The KSC75s remained on my ears but the cable was well and truly ripped out of both earpieces.  Returns from UK cost about the same as a new pair so I bought a new pair.

Xiaomi Piston 2:

I quite like these, especially for the price.  I am fairly ancient (pushing 50) and I believe my parents actually remember seeing dinosaurs.  I bought them a pair each.  They like the sound but they won't use them because going around with stuff stuck in your ears is just too weird for them (they also won't buy Japanese cars because they remember all that nasty shit in the war).  After all, how are they meant to take cover if they can't hear the doodlebugs?

Shure SE215:

I actually bought 3 of these and now regret it.

1st pair: stolen (bastard)
2nd pair: failed outside of warranty (insert curses here)
3rd pair: works fine but the world moved on and I now have several IEMs which I prefer - my Flare Audio R2Pro are much more expensive but *massively* better.  More worryingly (for Shure) the dual driver IEMs that come with high end Samsung phones and cost £25 retail are also much better.....

I think I've supplied at least three pyrates with HD650s at this point. Keeping my most recent pair, really love them after doing the quarter/rear dampening mods in the HD650 thread.

2x 600s, 2x 580s.
5x KSC-75s, because Office Depot had them on sale for $4.99 each.

Most of my repurchases were from trying to find a decent sounding portable closed headphone. I wish the Oppo PM-3 had been released around 18 months earlier. Off the top of my head...

2x Sennheiser Amperior - I still really like these, but I just couldn't manage the sibilance.
4x DT250-250s, 5x DT1350s, because fuck Beyerdynamic and their product variation.
2x V-Moda M100s, once before and once after they released the XL pads.
4x Logitech UE6000s.

Totally did that too.

I still have two unopened in my desk drawer as gifts/spare.  One open pair at home and another pair in my laptop bag as backup headphones.

5x DT1350s?! Did you manage to find a pair that actually sounded decent?

I used to have one that sounded pretty close to Tyll's graph. It wasn't bad sounding.  I sold it mosty because my hair kept getting caught in the headbad.

Which btw isn't linked on the datasheet page anymore for some reason.  I guessed the URL and found it though.  It's still in his all measurements omnibus though.

I did! Actually, Ron (Ringingears) owns it now. I ended up buying new glasses and they became intolerable to wear.

Beyerdynamic was close to a knock-out headphone with the DT1350.

I found it too fiddly, short or long hair and it did not fold up. A good DT1350 is close to flawless in a portable headphone for me. The K181DJ had less flaws for me.

Easily the DT880's. I've bought them 6 or so time snow. I should just get a 600Ohm model and stick with it.

But out of all my headphones over the years, there's been one I have never sold... The HD600.
