Interesting to see them also using decay measurements.

Looks like Purrin will get to be butt buddies w/ John Atkinson for at least an hour.  GRATZ!

They've been doing CSDs on speakers for a really long time. At least 10 years if not a lot longer

JA isn't a bad guy. I've asked him about measurement/math stuff that went over my head from D'agastino's Loudspeakers book and he knows his stuff.

John Atkinson is alright in my book. That guy knows his stuff and is probably the most objective minded guy they have. I'd shake John Atkinson's hand.  :)

Hmmm these speakers don't look as clean as I thought they'd be.  It would be cool to see how your Mackies measure Luis!  I bet they're squeeky clean.

I'd have to agree. He's more measurement focused and not bamboozled by trademarked buzzwords like Aphrodisiac Minimum Muff Filters for CD players.

*sighs* i hate weird big words like that. maybe that's why i can't understand half the stuff on most sites and their ''audiophile'' lingo.

anyways, on topic, i never read much of his stuff. i knew he did CSD plots cause i remember reading few articles and remember reading a review on the bookshelf version of my towers: the pioneer sp-bs41 or something. never did review on the fs-51 towers though i believe. have to double check. i think his stuff is pretty good and nice read.

His section is really the only part of their reviews I usually read.  This one's crazy:

I remember seeing those measurements, I never thought in my lifetime I would see a DAC measure that poorly  :'(
