Not at all ! French People usually love Singers from Quebec. Most french people love Celine Dion.

Not Me. I'm a Celine Dion hater. Give me a HEK and Hugo to listen to her and I commit suicide instantly.

Then this might amuse you monsieur

I've been searching for a female vocal centric set up since I started this hobby and I found this combo last CanJam.  :)p8

Anyone heard this UE customs made specially for female vocals?

http://pro.ultimateears.com/products/custom-monitors/for-stage/ultimate-ears-vocal-reference-monitors-f

They kinda sound like they just cut out or attenuate other frequencies to me.  Might be good for hearing yourself on stage but probably not the best for listening to music.

I don't know for sure that's what they actually do though.  The UE page is pretty vague...

Oh god no. These are monitors for vocalists who need to hear themselves on stage.

Hmm, I might have to take a flyer on the HD650 at this point. The 600 is fine at low volume (I use it when sleeping), but it's way brighter and forward overall than I expected. Thankfully the HD650 is as cheap as it is.

Edition 10 has a reputation as both an overpriced headphone and a very bright headphone. I ruled it out a LONG time ago.

Audio Technica seems like a good idea on paper, but the winged headband is a huge problem for me and I was not a fan of the AD2000x at all (again, very forward mids). I would consider the TH900 for a Japanese colored headphone ahead of the AT's, but the bass was a bit much during my trial period with it.

The Ether is tempting, but I consider the price somewhat inflated on it. Part of my love of the Mad Dog comes from the fact that its a value headphone that outperforms several other headphones well above its price range. No disrespect to Dan, but I'm not ready to commit that type of cash to his operation (especially since it is his first non-mod offering). I would definitely like to try one at some point though.

I'm french, and it's barely understandable p:8
Anyway, female vocals always remind me this little mockery about audiophoolery : http://pierreschneider.typepad.com/blog/2012/12/audiophile-tu-perds-ton-sang-froid.html

From time to time, he will listen to some music, essentially female vocal jazz. He'll have become harmless, happy, and the best friend of a wealthy hi-fi trader, well fed and full of gratitude.

Google trans is your friend, BTW  :)p5
And yes, I do listen sometimes to female vocal jazz  :)p8

Le chat est cool, trop cool. Mais quand il écoute à un beau voix d'une belle madame il ne peut pas gagner.

The cat is cool, too cool. But when he listens to a beautiful voice by a beautiful lady he cannot win.
