Used Stax 727.

POS  poo

That thing has the resolving ability of a blind mole. Better to find a 323 and save up for something proper. 727 is a waste of time and money if you ask me.

Only true answer for female vocals is Audio-Technica (non-studio lines.)

Audio-Technica is only good for stuff like female vocals or J-pop, but even then I would take a well-driven HD600/650 over any of the stuff they make.

Yeppers... HD-650 + tubes + female vocals is a blissful experience. Most of my listening is female singers, and I adore the 650's... and tubes.

Electra
DIY T2
Stax SRM-007 tII
HEV90

I used to like the KGSSHV for the ESP950. Haven't heard that combo in many years though.

Not sure how it would do with Pro-Bias phones, but the self-powered SRD7 I picked up hooked up to my Levi sounds more transparent and micro dynamic than the 323 or 727 to me just using my SRXmk3. I'm curious how it would sound off the Ragnarok as well. I'll have to mod one of the outputs for pro bias someday.

Electra
DIY T2
Stax SRM-007 tII
HEV90

EC doesn't make the Electra anymore right?

That would make them all but one unobtanium.

This is because she speaks Quebecois, not French huh. ;)

Not at all ! French People usually love Singers from Quebec. Most french people love Celine Dion.

Not Me. I'm a Celine Dion hater. Give me a HEK and Hugo to listen to her and I commit suicide instantly.
