It might be possessed by something. Did you listen to the Eagles of Death Metal?

Seven generations cursed to listen to Hotel California. Sometimes it doesn't even play the whole song. Sometimes just the bit about never being able to leave. And sometimes I find "Don't mess with audiophiles, ok?" written in blood on the mirror.

Listen naked, ye plebs!

I do (well, boxer shorts) because I went where the climate suits my clothes
Closed headphones with the AC on full blast.

Gets a bit sticky inside open headphones in this part of the world. Maybe a ventilation fan mod?

Not only that I realized there is a version of it in The Big Lebowski. You can never leave.

First world problems?

Who should I vote for?
What should I order from the menu?
Should I switch jobs?
I might end up in a nursing home!
My doctor said I need surgery!

Is there no "Stairway To Heaven" or "Road To Nowhere" to escape? If not you can only hope to meet undead MJ doing his "Thriller" thing. Otherwise you might meet the slaying "Angel Of Death." At best you find the doors and "The End" plays for eternity...

Great South Park episode. Dead Celebrities. "I'm not dead."  Think I might pick the Doors.    :&

I could almost live with that! My only friend; The End...  :)p2

Now, seriously, here is an un-first-world problem. I cannot wander into a shop and see/touch/feel/hear higher[ish]-end headphones or other hifi equipment without getting on a plane to another country.

At least play "Hotel California" at 16 bit CD quality. If you dare to MP3 it an eagle from heaven might strike down on you and the Eagles of Death Metal will not be able to save you from checking in to compressed audio hell. Of course you can always pray to Them Crooked Vultures for winged rescue.
