Forward only in terms of staging, or also general forwardness in more of a sort of in-your-face or aggressive way? How about comparisons with tone and smoothness or liquidity?

I've experienced Yggy as more aggressive because of the staging but I doubt it's intrinsically aggressive. I'm pretty sure that's something one gets used to. It definitely has a much fuller sound and greater liquidity. But it didn't seem smoother than the old Thetas or less smooth. The major changes I heard were in staging and resolution. The staging, though, is totally different and I suppose that that's where preferences will play a large role. (It makes Rag sound a lot better, since soundstage isn't Rag's strongest suit.)
