Do you think there may be an acoustic leak from the jack hole? ~Tyll Hertsens

Not sure if I like stuffing one hole or both holes. Tending toward one hole since both holes seems kinda ghey ~Purrin

Jude just posted some (predictably optimistic) impressions here along with some FR plots.

Hope they don't throw out the HD650s shortly after releasing these which is what happened to the Amperior after the release of HD25 Aluminums. Since it's closed back, I am guessing open backs are soon to be released....?

I think Jude needs to work on his compensation curves some more.  The HD800 isn't that bright...

I think you mean Jude needs to use compensation curves. Period.

Edit: Actually, even without compensations, things still look kinda screwy...

Apparently according to the HF thread, this headphone won't have user-replaceable cable.
Not so great news to a lot of people.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the first few commenters being somewhat skeptical. Jude was flowery as always. You know, maybe it doesn't deserve the HD6XX branding or higher, but it's probably more worthy than the HD700 was having its branding. ;)

At least the HD700 has a removable cable so it's easier to hang yourself with it after you realize how much money you wasted...

First play "Whip My Hair" by Willow to give you reason to really take off the headphone. When you strive for death by disgust at least end it with something disgusting...

P.S. This song is too atrocious to link. Even Right Said Fred is more likeable.
