Oh, the next one is a bit more "out of comfort zone" for me. This one had the first half done using measurements (mostly due to the treble peak), but the second half done completely with my ears. Took one last set of measurements to see if they'll compare to yours, but other than that, there's a reason I've been keeping mum about it. Haha.

Well, hopefully you'll get to hear it either this weekend or Monday. I hope this box arrives on time, since I sent it out quite late in the day after the day I sent that box out. :)

Haha. Yeah. Will need to tone it down a good amount.

I kept hearing it as extremely thin and bright, but the FR graph on my rig says that's neutral. Will need to adjust it down now.

Yeah the rig is messed up then. You need to figure it out. Follow Marv's coupler thread.

I didn't think it was too bright...

This one is different from the version at CanJam, but it's already less bright than the one at CanJam.

I think the problem here is that I pushed the 8KHz peak down, but in order to do that, I had to elevate the upper mids up, and even though on my rig, it looks nice and flat, it actually isn't.

What I think I should do now is rely more so on my ears, and then re-calibrate my coupler to better reflect what I hear, rather than what the microphone is telling me relative to all other measurements.

I tend not to be too sensitive with a bit of brightness. I'm a bit odd compared to most in that aspect.
